What kind of land is the Land Trust looking for?
The West Hartford Land Trust seeks gifts and acquisition of undeveloped property in the Town of West Hartford,

accept or deny all land donations.

The West Hartford Land Trust will work with interested parties to set up such a conservation easement to restrict the
future use of their property. A conservation easement allows a landowner to remain the owner of a property while
ensuring that the property is never developed.
Agreements Among Landowners
The West Hartford Land Trust will work with neighbors to help them enter into binding agreements that restrict the
future development of their properties.

The West Hartford Land Trust can purchase desirable undeveloped land and preserve that property as open space.
